Job Description
Job Title: Tax Professional
Pay Rate: $70K/year
Hours: Full time with some flexibility, approximately 40 hours per week. Core hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
- Will work additional hours during the tax season
Length: Direct Hire
Location: Appleton, WI (on-site)
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of tax preparation experience
- Farm or agricultural tax experience is a plus
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus
- Basic Word and Excel knowledge, usage of a computer tax package, QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
- Outgoing, organized, driven and self motivated
- Must have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Prepare income taxes and financial reports
- Calculate depreciation expenses
- Perform tax research
- Analyze financial statements
- Calculate payroll taxes
- Help clients with QuickBooks or other accounting records
