Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Stepdown
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Stepdown to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced neuro stepdown environment. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro and progressive care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
- Perform patient assessments and monitor neurological status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery
- Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Neuro Stepdown experience
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred
- Current Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to successfully complete rhythm recognition and medication assessments during orientation
Schedule Requirements
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other holiday required
