Description
The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a motivated team leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service as our new Park Worker I for the Rowena Landing Restaurant at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, located on the beautiful 60,000+ acre Lake Cumberland. This Resort Park is one of the premier lodging and dining facilities in the area. For decades, we have been serving our guests in our 200 seat restaurant with panoramic views of Lake Cumberland. In addition to front-of-house operations, you will work closely with the back of the house operations, group sales, and other departments to provide delivery of exceptional guest services for our Rowena Landing Restaurant throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock waitress station and buffet unit with dishes, mugs, glasses, etc. before, during, and after shift.
  • Responsible for sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming dining room floors.
  • Clean dirty dishes from tables and wipe tables.
  • Janitorial and cleaning duties for the dining room.
  • Follow departmental rules, regulations, and policies under the direction of dining room supervisor.
  • Working with point of sale system to ring up guests.
  • Complete cash count procedures at end of shift.
