What You’ll Be Doing:

As a member of the US Capital Markets Chief Administrative Office, you’ll provide direct day-to-day support and coverage to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and CIBC’s US Capital Markets businesses (Corporate & Investment Banking and Sales & Trading). The team serves as the primary liaison between the Capital Markets businesses and its supporting infrastructure groups and ensures a sound control environment as the primary business line 1b risk function. As an Associate, you’ll provide day-to-day support to the regional CAO for Capital Markets and other team members through proactive responsiveness to information requests, and helping to resolve day-to-day service or business related issues and creating impactful presentation materials. How You’ll Succeed:

  • Prioritize, direct and implement assignments / projects / initiatives, and resolve issues / problems.

  • Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders across the different businesses and infrastructure teams.

  • Coordinate information and data responses to internal and external auditor / regulator requests.

  • Own various reporting requirements laid out by both the business and infrastructure support groups.

  • Maintain and analyze key performance metrics on behalf of the business and create presentation materials.

  • Apply excellent organization skills to keep stakeholders focused and on track and be responsive and accessible throughout the day.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.

  • You’re detail oriented and hold excellent organizational skills.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $ 115,000-135,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
