Montessori Lead Teacher — Pre‑K (Certified)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Lead Teacher to join our Pre‑K classroom. The ideal candidate is a warm, collaborative educator who understands the Montessori philosophy and can create a nurturing, child‑centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Pre‑K Montessori classroom using authentic Montessori methods and materials
• Develop and maintain an engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Observe, record, and assess each child’s progress
• Communicate regularly with families to support student growth
• Collaborate with staff to uphold school culture and Montessori principles
• Ensure safety, order, and consistency in the classroom

Required Qualifications

• Montessori certification in Pre‑K / Early Childhood (AMS, AMI, MACTE‑accredited, or equivalent)
• Experience working with children ages 3–6
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and classroom management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience in a multi‑age Montessori environment
