Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal, NY 13850
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Shift Details:

• Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:45 AM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 12-hour shifts may be requested

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a state-operated long-term care facility. This large facility provides comprehensive care including skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, memory care, and wound care. The patient population primarily includes individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer’s
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems
• Ensure adherence to all clinical and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (required at submission)
• Clean license with no disciplinary actions
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience preferred

Additional Acceptable Experience

Candidates with recent experience in the following settings will also be considered:

• Rehabilitation
• Medical-Surgical Units
• Acute Care / Hospital Settings
• Other relevant nursing specialties

• Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)
• No medication pass responsibilities
