Position Summary The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Radiology is seeking a System Architect to manage the day-to-day operations of the team charged with maintenance of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) equipment including image workflow, archiving, auto-routing, diagnostic viewing and prefetching and other related activities. Oversee various other Radiology IT-related platforms in addition to PACS. Oversee integration of other departments’ imaging systems with PACS architecture. Possess knowledge of PACS system design and architecture as well as radiographic imaging modalities and their interactions with the PACS. Leads project development and implementation.
