The Analyst II will be directed by the Supervisor I in Forensic Services at the Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero (ASH). The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to: Maintains the accuracy and timeliness of maximum commitment dates for all hospital legal classes. Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders on inquiries related to any legal class. Make arithmetical computations to determine maximum commitment date applying applicable custody credits and enhancements according to Penal Code. Analyze and interpret forensic reports, court orders and subpoenas, recognizing discrepancies and requesting correction as needed. Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
