Department CTR FOR INNOVATIVE TCH and LRNG (BL-CITL-IUBLA) Department Information The Service-Learning Program (SLP) supports curricular service partnerships between instructors and varied community entities, including non-profits, local and state governments, and small and large businesses. Instructors on the IU Bloomington Campus teach over 300 service-learning courses annually, partnering with over 100 community partners in the Bloomington-Monroe County area. Over 3000 students annually complete these classes, providing service in their community that is integral to their academic coursework. Our community partners provide a Community Engaged Learning (CEL) experience for the student while receiving support for their work.
