Job Description A client is seeking a Network Engineer to support a major network conversion project involving 120 newly acquired locations. This role includes facilitating remote smart hands during surveys and deployments, building detailed network diagrams in Visio, and configuring Fortinet equipment such as firewalls, switches, and access points. The engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, join PM meetings to address technical questions, and ensure all gear is shipped and ready for deployment. On go-live nights, the engineer will provide air support and troubleshoot any discrepancies between planned configurations and real-world conditions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining task updates, preparing sites for deployment, and assisting with multiple locations simultaneously to ensure smooth conversions.
