Description Duties Description Reports to the Plant Utilities Engineer 4 and assists in facility engineering. Supervises the activities of maintenance and custodial staff. Responsible for the operation and maintenance, as well as the tests and calibrations of all electrical components, including high voltage electrical distribution systems and equipment and emergency diesel power generation systems for critical building components at the direction of the Plant Utilities Engineer 4. Maintains uninterrupted power supply system for critical building components; and other building systems including, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, hot water, plumbing, refrigeration, compressed air, laboratory vacuum systems, water purification, laboratory gas systems and lines, building and evidence security and monitoring systems, as well as fire detection and sprinkler structures.
