Position Summary The Highway Safety Engineer will train, review, and supervise the work of the CEIs and CEIIs and interns and co-ops within the Highway Safety Section. CEIIIs will also perform the following tasks and regularly communicate with consultants, local, regional, State and Federal personnel with little oversight. The Civil Engineer III will need familiarity with the Highway Safety Manual for crash prediction, countermeasure selection, evaluation and prioritization of recommendations and projects and be comfortable training others.
