Job Description Job Summary: This role is responsible for supporting and managing plant controls systems within an automotive manufacturing environment. The Controls Engineer leads electrical and controls projects involving PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and SCADA integration while supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. They provide technical guidance to skilled trades and engineering teams, troubleshoot equipment and conveyor issues, and support new model and process changes. This position also plays a key role in safety, quality, cost control, and long term maintenance of plant controls systems.
