Italian Home for Children provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental challenges. Our Neurodevelopmental Unit (NDU) and Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) programs offer evidence-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally sensitive care for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. Our Intensive Treatment Residence (ITR) program offers evidence-based and trauma-informed care for youth who are in Department of Children and Families custody and have a range of mental health diagnoses. The Behavior Support Specialist will join the clinical team made up of social workers, BCBA, OT, and nursing to support clients in our programs.
