The University of Iowa Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Support Services Specialist. The Support Services Specialist provides clinical operational support to ensure effective and efficient delivery of health care in the IVF- Andrology laboratory. Position Responsibilities Contacts patients after their initial storage period has ended and assures that disposition directives are communicated to the laboratory and confirmed with the patients. Scans disposition forms into EPIC. Assists with daily and annual billing. Schedules appointments in EPIC for cryopreserved embryo, sperm and oocytes storage billing. Links storage billing appointments when checking patients in for billing. Enters patient demographics into the SART CORS web-based database for compliance with the Fertility Clinic Success Rate and Certification Act. Prospectively reports cycle starts into SART CORS.
