General Purpose As an Operations Team Lead, you’ll assist in leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and cost objectives. Essential Functions Back up the Operations Supervisor in their absence. Ensure team members, including temporary employees, understand job instructions, safety requirements, and quality guidelines. Identify, document, and develop solution(s) to workflow problems and issues. Lead and coordinate all teams and/or activities for the shift to ensure safety, quality, customer expectations, and cost objectives are met. Provide the Operations Supervisor with feedback on team member performance. Report on customer service, employee safety, equipment, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
