Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides training, support and guidance to the research community regarding collection of information necessary to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. Frequent use of the environmental data management software tool (EHS Assist) is required for this position. Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, chemical properties and relational database design, Department of Transportation (DOT) segregation principals, International Building Code (IBC) requirements and proper storage of chemicals is required. Ability to interview database users (internal and external) to determine required and requested enhancements, and communicate those enhancements to the software vendor, is essential.
