Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Under general supervision of the Power Plant Zone Manager, Power Plant Assistant Zone Manager, Utility Operations Zone Manager, and Director of Utility Operations, the Mechanic performs skilled work in the maintenance, operation, and repair of all Utility Operations systems at the Danforth Campus and all remote University owned locations (excluding Quadrangle Management leased retail spaces and Quadrangle Housing managed properties). The Mechanic will perform daily operational rounds, perform scheduled maintenance, respond to service calls, and relieve any mechanic in an operational role for vacations, sickness, injury, or other absences regardless of shifts.
