Location: Knoxville, TN Open Date Aug 1, 2025 Description The Department of Biosystems Engineering & Soil Science (BESS) at the University of Tennessee https://bess.tennessee.edu/ invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (12-month appointment; 75% teaching/25% Extension). The responsibilities of this position include delivering coursework in the pre-construction curriculum within the Construction Science and Management Program and developing an outreach program in stormwater management with a focus on construction site applications. Housed in BESS, the Construction Science and Management Program, which began in 2010, has an undergraduate population of approximately 390 students and has a short-term goal of increasing the student numbers to 400.
