Posting Details General Services Department State Purchasing Division (SPD) is responsible for managing centralized purchasing throughout the State with a significant number of public procurement activities under its care and control. SPD focuses on providing cost-effective products and services through competitive, open and transparent purchases. SPD issues statewide pricing agreements and cooperative contracts that are made available for use by NM Governmental entities for over $6 billion dollars expended annually. SPD is charged with ensuring compliance with the State Procurement Code, which exists to create an open, fair and competitive procurement process.
