The Security Operations Center functions as a center where calls for security assistance are received, a radio dispatch center for incoming and outgoing radio communications, a monitoring station for access control operations, e911 emergency application, Radiation Monitoring Systems, a video surveillance center where cameras can be viewed both live and historically, and a location where documentation on all department activities occurs.
