Overview: Provide security services to protect the employees, visitors, patients, and facility at regional Carle outpatient locations. Maintain a safe environment and ensure building access control measures are maintained. Officer may be called to assist with security services at other sites including the main campus. Responsibilities: Monitor perimeter and interior doors/areas and watch for unauthorized access. Patrol building and grounds for safety and security issues/hazards and investigate. Monitor cameras. Overview Provides physical security for the hospital and grounds and protects patients, visitors, and employees from physical harm or loss of personal property. Protects the assets of the hospital from fire, theft, damage or misuse and immediately responds to emergency situations as directed. Proactively identifies and resolves security/safety issues that pose a potential risk to hospital and exercises mature judgment and sound reasoning in the performance of job responsibilities. Able to maintain a courteous and tactful demeanor in all interactions with team members, visitors, and patients.
