A Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for verifying the execution of Quality systems and processes. Many of these systems proactively ensure Quality of products and services produced by Operations personnel and vendors. The Technician will perform inspection of finished product, ingredients, and materials at all stages of processing (incoming, in process, and finished goods). Cooperates with other Quality Assurance Technicians and Operations personnel in a team effort to identify potential Quality issues, communicate them thoroughly, seek prompt resolution, and to verify resolution with follow-up. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associate degree in a scientific discipline, and/or 5+ years of analytical/lab experience. Some food processing knowledge is helpful.
