The University of Iowa Health Care Walk-In Clinics is seeking a 100% (40 hours a week) Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) to primarily support our Iowa City/Corridor Walk-In Clinics (Urgent Care/Quick Care Clinics) . Our Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) perform direct patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services within our Walk-in Clinics. UI Walk-in Clinics provide care to try to save our patients a trip to the emergency room. We’re open evenings, weekends, and even some holidays. Our clinics are responsible to assess a wide variety of patients from newborn to geriatric and ensures patient care standards are met and provide access to additional care options not normally found at your traditional walk-in clinic, including X-rays, IV fluids, and stitches. The University of Iowa Healthcare/Walk In Clinics is seeking a 100% (40 hours a week) Physician Assistant (PA) to primarily support our Iowa City/Corridor Walk-In Clinics (Urgent Care/QuickCare Clinics) . Physician Assistant performs direct patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services. Within the Physician Assistant (PA)/Physician relationship, the PA will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. Our Physician Assistant's will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. The PA's will also assist in educating healthcare students, as they rotate through the respective departments and divisions and will assist in research endeavors as appropriate.
