No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays! The UI Heart and Vascular Center are seeking a 60% Medical Assistant II to support our Outreach community clinics within a 2-hour radius of Main Campus. The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities. This position involves a combination of administrative and clinical tasks to provide comprehensive patient care. This position’s main location will be our Iowa River Landing/Outpatient Clinic and will primarily travel to other surrounding Outreach community clinics and Main Campus clinic to provide additional support. Schedule will primarily support Outreach community clinics but will be variable to change based on patient care demands.
