Definition This is skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and alteration of public buildings. An employee in this class is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, remodeling, and alteration tasks in public buildings. Assignments are usually so varied that several trades are used in carrying out work.
