The Public Safety Technician I/II performs technical level work in the prevention and detection of violations and the enforcement of laws and regulations. In addition, this position performs semi-skilled work, frequently in remote field locations, to ensure that mobile facilities and transportation equipment are operational, and assists Troopers with surveillance and patrol duties, evidence handling and preservation.
