access Abilities, a local non-profit subsidiary of Lifesteps, Inc., is seeking part-time, compassionate, caring individuals to provide assistance to participants with personal care and daily living tasks in the Blairsville, PA area for our Home & Community Services program. The right candidate will enjoy helping others with personal care such as bathing, personal hygiene, transferring to/from bed, laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals. Tasks may also include assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc. Caregiver Position Requirements: · Must be 18 years or older · No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided. · Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift) · Valid driver’s license/auto insurance · Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
