CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR Description Will be responsible for inspection and observation on various MDOT road projects throughout SE Michigan, and possibly the entire state. Will handle daily reports within Field Book, and work with internal and external teams on these projects. Will be working on underground utility, road, and/or bridge construction projects weekly. Will be reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and maps. Will evaluate and review plans and specs for the job site that needs to be inspected. Will perform Density and/or Concrete testing on an as-needed basis. Will need to able to work in any weather condition. Will be given a work truck, so a clean driving record is needed.
