The Lead Environmental Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs Burns Harbor is an important member of a team that works throughout our facility to promote environmental stewardship as well as leading to improve our environmental performance. The facility includes ironmaking, a coke plant, steelmaking, plate mills, hot strip mill, and finishing operations. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on, collaborative environments and are willing to seize opportunities to develop themselves. This position is responsible for air compliance, air reporting, evaluating regulatory changes, and guiding plant operations to maintain compliance with federal and state environmental requirements.
