The Boyd County Sheriff's Office in Butte, NE is seeking deputies. Boyd County is a rural area comprised of several small towns. We have the Niobrara River on our south border and the Missouri River on part of our north border, and are located less than 30 minutes from the Fort Randall Dam. We have modern equipment including low mile, slick top F-150 patrol units equiped with radar, Mobile Data Computers, and all the equipment you need to do your job. We utilize the statewide radio system as well as MACH & TRACS. We will supply you with uniforms, duty gear, ballistic vest and carrier, Taser, duty pistol, patrol rifle, shotgun, and any equipment needed. We have a great working relationship with neighboring agencies, Nebraska State Patrol, Nebraska Game and Parks, and the Nebraska Fire Marshal's Office. Because of that we have access to resources such as Drones, cellbrite computer, narcotics K-9, training, and personnel when needed, all within 30 minutes of the county line....
