Unit Secretary - ED FT Nights This position has the responsibility of receiving patients in a courteous accommodating manner. The ED Unit Secretary is responsible for performing a combination of registration and clerical duties to include the following: Registration/ Business Office Duties: Register patient into the ED per Business Office protocols. Obtaining identifying information needed for any ED, In-patient, Observation and Swing-Bed admissions as well as other outpatient admissions. Obtaining the most up-to-date demographic information.
