The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Office Assistant (Spanish-Speaking). This is a Competitive position under New York State Civil Service Law. Per NYS Civil Service Law, any appointment to this position will be made on a Provisional basis, pending the future administration of a Civil Service examination. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position involves the performance of difficult clerical and secretarial tasks which may require operation of such equipment as a personal computer or word-processor.
