Position Title: Urban Forestry Specialist Description: This position provides a unique and diverse learning experience for a person interested in Urban Forestry. The primary job duty will be treatment of public ash trees to prevent damage from Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). Other duties may include street tree pruning, maintenance and removal; and GIS tree inventory work. Under supervision of the City Forester, and/or City Arborist, performs trunk injection treatments for EAB, operates dump trucks, tractors, brush chipper chainsaws, hand tools, GPS, and other mechanical and safety equipment. This position offers an opportunity for Internship. Cedarburg’s historic community (Pop. 11,500) manages over 7,500 public trees and is located in Ozaukee County, 20 miles north of Milwaukee.
