This postdoc will play a leading role in a NIFA-AFRI Social Implications of Digital Technologies funded grant. The overarching aim of this project is to evaluate whether digital technologies have the potential to increase access and inclusivity of conservation cost-share funds to a wide variety of producers, with the ultimate goal of increasing adoption of sustainable farming practices. The successful candidate is expected to enhance the lab's ability to support overall project goals. They will conduct experiments to investigate how pathogens evade host immune responses and manipulate cellular processes to thrive within host cells. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the peer reviewed literature that pertains to overall project goals and specific tasks required of the project. The candidate will be responsible for recording all methods, results, and other relevant information in an organized manner as instructed by the Principal Investigator.
