POSITION SUMMARY. The Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Loras College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Counseling, with specialization in clinical mental health counseling and preferred licensure as a counselor. As a member of the School of ScienceHealth, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching a range of courses for the graduate counseling program, including Research and Program Evaluation, Assessment, Psychopathology, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning, Addictions, as well as courses the candidate's specialty. Candidates will be expected to teach summer courses (typically 4 weeks) on a rotating basis with other faculty and academically advise students. There may be opportunities to supervise research.
