Job Description The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection, White Mountain Crew, is recruiting for multiple long-term non-permanent experienced crew members - Wildland Fire & Resource Technician 2s in Fairbanks, Alaska. What You Will Be Doing This is a crewmember position on a 20-person hand crew (Type 2 Initial Attack). Primary duties will include wildland fire suppression, chainsaw operations, water pump operations, burnout and backfiring, line digging, and safely working with and around fire mitigation equipment.
