Job Function: The Recreation Activities Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and promotion of new and ongoing programs and activities that benefit community residents of all ages by promoting health, wellness and life-long learning. Essential Functions: Assists in developing and facilitating a wide range of activities, programs or outings (educational, wellness, fitness and outdoor), employing talented instructors to offer classes. Supports instructors in completing contracts, required paperwork and ensures applicable safety protocols are followed. Maintains up-to-date information on department’s website including calendar and event pages. Schedules all facilities (community park and pavilion, community center, etc.) and manages payment processes for the department.
