The Weatherization Auditor conducts inspections, pre-audits, and energy audits for the Agency’s Weatherization and Energy Assistance Programs as needed. You'll work with clients in their homes, which makes up about 20% of the role. This work includes accessing attic spaces, basements, crawlspaces, and living areas to determine necessary services. You'll be responsible for taking home measurements, performing combustion analysis, conducting home diagnostic testing, entering data, and creating work orders in a timely manner, in accordance with program policy and MN Department of Commerce guidance. You'll also educate and empower low-income program participants to understand their utility bills, reduce energy consumption, and refer clients to other eligible programs.
