The City of Fort Wright is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of full-time Public Works Laborer. The individual in this position will be responsible for duties that range from manual labor to skilled tasks and will report directly to the Public Works Director. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated proficiency in the operation of power tools & heavy machinery, and excellent customer service abilities. He or she must also be able to bend, lift and move items in excess of 50 pounds several times a day, work outside in adverse weather conditions, and work some weekends and on-call.
