course, EDU 320: Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students, during the Fall 2026 semester. EDU 320 is a
practice-oriented course designed to prepare future educators to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse students, with
a particular focus on multilingual learners in PK-12 settings. The course explores principles of second language acquisition, culturally
responsive pedagogy, and educational equity within a multicultural society. Students examine the impact of culture, immigration, migration,
colonialism, and power on language policy and classroom practice, and they develop and teach lessons aligned with WIDA standards that
