Summary The Transmission System Supervisor (TSS) performs the NERC System Operator duties . The TSS has the responsibility and authority to implement real-time actions to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the Bulk Electric System. This is accomplished in such a way that it adheres to NERC, RFC, MISO policies, and procedures. The TSS monitors voltage frequency, power flow, reactive flow, tie-line flow and power equipment status, for internal and external grid security.
