The Role The Central Office Paralegal position is primarily responsible for responding to record requests from law enforcement, state's attorneys, and out-of-state child protection agencies as well as responding to subpoenas. These requests are time sensitive, requiring quick turn-around times and involve searching the Department's electronic database for all responsive records, downloading and electronically redacting relevant records and releasing them in an electronic format to requestors.
