GENERAL PURPOSE The Human Resources Generalist supports the City in all aspects of the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department including recruitment, orientation, administration, employee relations, worker’s compensation, leave of absence process and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. The Human Resources Generalist will also provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR matters and assist in the implementation of HR initiatives. SUPERVISION RECEIVED & EXERCISED Works under the supervision of the Human Resources Director.
