Substitute Reference Librarian The Ipswich Public Library is in search of one or two librarians or librarians-in-training, committed to providing excellent customer service to join our team as on-call Reference desk substitutes. This position works on the reference public service desk offering reader’s advisory, answering phones, assisting with technology questions and miscellaneous general inquiries, and requiring substantive knowledge of the library’s collections, services, systems, policies and procedures. Schedule This is an on-call position, hours are given as needed. Most shifts are scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance with occasional short notice needs.
