What you will be doing: Under the general supervision of a Fisheries Biologist 1, and with oversight by staff biologists at the regional office, this position serves at the Canyon Island Fish Wheel Camp on the Taku River as the on-site manager of the large, remote, and permanent salmon stock assessment field camp. The incumbent will assist in the capture, tagging, biological sampling, and release of salmon for the marking portion of a mark–recapture project to help determine in-season and post-season abundance of Taku River Chinook, sockeye, and coho salmon stocks.
