Job Title: GIS Technician Job Description The GIS Technician is responsible for completing engineering designs and cost estimates using GIS for various main and service work. This role involves collecting construction activity data as-built, using mobile GPS devices in the field to create permanent asset records. The technician will also edit map features and their correlating attribute data in the GIS system, and perform final quality checks of GIS versioned data before posting it to the GIS.
