This position is open to all Applicants. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Commercial Fisheries is recruiting for a Fish and Wildlife Technician 2 located in King Salmon, Alaska! What you will be doing: This position will work at one of five counting tower projects on the eastside of Bristol Bay. Responsibilities will include enumerating escapement of adult sockeye salmon and collection of biological (age, sex, & length) information from fish caught using a beach seine. Other tasks will include camp and boat maintenance as well as other duties as assigned. This position will be staffed for a four to five week period within the window of June 12 to July 31.
