The Office of Admission at Truman State University seeks a self-motivated, passionate, and dynamic individual to serve as an admission counselor. The admission counselor will have primary responsibility for recruiting new first-year students, with an emphasis on supporting one of the teams within the Office of Admission. Duties include regional travel within an assigned territory, representing the institution with on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, participating in file reviews, counseling prospective students and their families through the admission process, and conducting individual meetings and presentations.
