As a Payroll Clerk at one of our Alaska facilities, you will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment. Your duties will include data entry and deductions, process direct deposits, and generating payroll reports. You will also assist with other HR functions as needed, such as time and attendance tracking. Essential Functions/Qualifications The responsibilities of the position include the following: Process data entry for multi-state payroll per site, under strict deadlines while ensuring all entries and system outputs follow all state and federal laws. Manage workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Verify and approve employee timecards with department heads. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. Understand proper taxation of employee paid benefits.
